As those who have been following the saga of Rosemarie Jackowski know(most recently diaried by Kestrel here Rosemarie (Updated), the VT Supreme Court overturned her conviction on a technicality. After overturning the conviction, the outgoing State's Attorney for Bennington County, William Wight, declared that he was going to retry Rosemarie.  

Unfortunately, due to a variety of circumstances, Rosemarie was having trouble finding another lawyer to defend her, as well as facing rising legal costs.  Well, today brought a bit of sunshine to her case:  She may not need that lawyer after all.  Follow me to extended for the details.

According to Truthout, sources are reporting that Karl Rove has informed Bush and Chief of Staff Josh Bolten that he will be indicted and will resign immediately upon indictment. More after the break...:

Don't know how many people have been following the Vermont Senate race between front-runners Congressman Bernie Sanders (I) and Rich Tarrant (R).  In recent polls, Bernie Sanders has been way ahead of Tarrant, mainly due to name recognition and his fantastic work in the House of Rep.  

Tarrant has sunk, a la Katherine Harris, approximately $2 million of his own money into the race.  A large portion of that money has recently gone into radio ads discussing how he made his fortune.  Apparently, though, those radio ads and his various appearances haven't drawn enough interest in his campaign.  Yesterday an article appeared detailing Tarrant's newest attempt to gain support.
